Online Summer Camp
Strings & Piano
Online Violin Summer Camp is a great opportunity for Suzuki or Traditional students of all ages including Adults and Beginners. All classes will take place on ZOOM. Instructors Laura and Zachary will utilize online group playing techniques including “copying”, “leaders”, and “breakout rooms”. There will be recordings provided for duet parts imitating an ensemble experience for online musical interaction.

Pre-Twinkle
JUNE 18-21 9-10am MT
Best for Violin Students ages 3-6 who are just starting Suzuki. No pervious lessons are required, but students must have a violin that is the correct size. Work on posture and beginning set up including bow-hold and violin position. Learn pre-twinkle songs, all the twinkle rhythms and theme as well as how to play along on open strings while listening to more advanced pieces. Meet and play with others students.

Suzuki
JUNE 18-21 10-11am MT
Best for Suzuki Violin Students of ages 5-12 who are studying Volumes 1-3. Review Suzuki repertoire and techniques for Suzuki violin school volumes 1-3. Viola and Cello students are welcome too because will transpose many pieces to the key of D. Learn new songs by ear and how to play along with more advanced pieces. Meet and play with others students.

Fiddle Fun
JUNE 18-21 11-1pm MT
Best for students of all ages who can read music and enjoy fiddle tunes. Learn ensembles and fiddle duets from several fiddle styles and regions. Bluegrass, Irish, Celtic, America, Canadian. Study Music Theory and how to play chords and back up fiddle. Learn about Slides, Double Stops, Tags and tune endings. Meet and play with others, adults and young students alike.

Piano for Strings
JUNE 24-28 9-10am MT
Best for String Students of all ages who would like to learn Piano. Students must own a piano or keyboard with full size keys. Learn beginning piano basics and Music Theory from the Piano Adventures method. Join a breakout room with students that are the same age and level. Meet and play with others.

JUNE 24-28 10-11am MT
Best for Suzuki Students of all ages who are studying Volumes 1-3. Review Suzuki repertoire and learn harmony parts and duets. Violin, Viola and Cello students are welcome. Study orchestra etiquette and ensemble music. Meet and play with other students, adults and young students alike.
