About Ms. Laura Go Beyond Violin Lessons ~ “I don’t just teach online lessons, I offer lesson plans that go beyond the typical lesson schedule and build a platform for success. Utilizing the growing technology that we have available to us today, we can have a new lesson experience that will change the way we look at violin lessons. Laura Mozena graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors degree in Violin Performance where she participated in the long term Suzuki Teacher Training Program with Louise Scott, Karen Hallberg, and Susan Baer. Laura has also taken multiple Short Term Suzuki Teacher Training courses and is a Registered Suzuki Teacher.  She was the artistic director with Lighthouse Suzuki Strings for 11 years and is the program coordinator for Grace Notes Music Foundation.  

Ms. Laura’s students have performed at the Kravis Center for “Beyond the Stage” and at the Harriet Himmel Theatre in Florida. Some of her students were chosen the Star Spangled Banner at the Dean Stadium for a Cardinals vs. Marlins game.  She has helped students audition and be accepted into Bak Middle School of the Arts, Dryfoos High School for the Arts and All State Orchestras.  Several of her students have gone on to major in music at university. 

Laura has performed with such orchestras as The Flagstaff Symphony, Palm Beach Pops, Treasure Coast Opera Orchestra, and The Wheeling Symphony.  She has also performed with many church orchestras and has 20+ years experience playing for special events including weddings. 

Currently, Laura teaches Suzuki violin and fiddle lessons ONLINE. She enjoys teaching and playing fiddle music as well as classical. She specializes in audition prep & orchestra music and her students learn a variety of supplemental music including Pop, Rock and Movie Theme Music.
